Bird Flu or Avian Influenza

Bird flu is a disease transmitted by bird to human being (also called Avian influenza); the causative agent of the disease is influenza virus type A, which is mainly resposnsoble for causing influenza pandemic. Influenza virus type B and C are found only in human, type B virus may cause epidemic influenza where as type C virus produces very mild clinical symptoms.
